Monarch Film Credits is a division of Monarch Private Capital, a leading ESG fund manager and tax credit equity firm. Monarch, founded in 2004, was one of the first tax credit syndicators to offer Georgia Low Income Housing Tax Credits in the nation. When Georgia enacted the 2005 Entertainment Industry Investment Act (HB 539), Monarch was one of the first tax credit placement specialists to offer Georgia film tax credits in 2006. The Georgia film tax credit program was enhanced and became more successful through the Georgia legislature’s passage of HB 1100, the Georgia Entertainment Investment Act of 2008. Monarch has since become the largest placement specialist of Georgia tax credits and continues to expand its offerings to include over 30 state film and non-film tax credits.
