Lights. Camera. America! Panel – Monarch Private Capital & Film USA Panel During Cannes 2025
Monarch Private Capital recently hosted the Lights. Camera. America! panel discussion at the 2025 Marché du Film in Cannes as part of Georgia Entertainment’s Georgia Day at the Film USA Pavilion. The event convened industry leaders for a timely and solutions-focused conversation on the future of U.S. film production.
Moderated by Marco Cordova, the panel addressed the growing challenges facing the American film industry, including global competition, stalled domestic production, and evolving financing models. Panelists explored the critical role of incentives and collaboration in revitalizing U.S.-based filmmaking and reinforcing a unified national strategy to support long-term growth.
Monarch Private Capital was proud to once again partner with Film USA to bring together leading voices from across the industry to examine both the obstacles and opportunities shaping the current production landscape. The discussion emphasized the urgency of action and the collective responsibility to strengthen the U.S. film ecosystem and restore momentum at home.
Thank you to our partners at Film USA and Georgia Entertainment for their collaboration in making this important conversation possible. For inquiries about hosting a similar event, please contact Marco Cordova.
